bubba

yesterday at lunch, charlie (our flowergirl) decided that her name was "bubba." we're not exactly sure where she heard the name or why she decided it was a good name for her, but then again, we are in alabama...

anyway, if you see someone named "bubba" listed in our wedding program as the flowergirl...don't worry, it's still charlie.

a-tisket, a-tasket, a sunny yellow basket

i bought a flower girl basket for charlie this morning. i found it on the blog of a same-sex couple who's planning their wedding called twobrides. she posted some cute things she had recently found on etsy. i hope she didn't actually want the basket b/c i snatched it up pretty quickly.

it's handmade by brasspaperclip from a sunny yellow vintage doily. the handle is made of creamy ivory pearls and the whole thing is accented with crisp vintage silk ribbons on either side of the handle. i think it's so pretty and unique. now, we just need a dress to match.

there has been a new addition to our wedding party - we now have a flower girl! none other than miss charlotte lamy (a.k.a. charlie)! charlie is the 3 year old daughter of our good friends, dave and jeri, & danny's favorite dancing partner. she enjoys little einsteins, monkeys jumping on the bed, and tickle spiders. she's smart, hilarious, and freakin' adorable.
