Want to pack your bags
Something small
Take what you need and we'll disappear
Without a trace
We'll be gone gone
Moon and the stars will follow the car
Then when we get to the ocean
Gonna take a boat to the end of the world
All the way to the end of the world
Oh and when the kids are old enough
We're gonna teach them
To fly
You and me together
We can do anything, baby
You and me together
Yes, yes
The two of us together
We can do anything, baby
You and me together
Yes, yes
You and I, we're not tied to the ground
Not falling but rising
Like rolling around eyes
Closed above the rooftops
Eyes closed, we're gonna spin through the stars
Our arms are wide as the sky
We're gonna ride the blue
All the way to the end of the world
All the way to the end of the world
Oh and when the kids are old enough
We're gonna teach them
To fly
We can do anything, baby
You and me together
Yes, yes
The two of us together
We can do anything, baby
You and me together
Yes, yes
We can always look back at what we did
Always the memory of you and me, baby
But right now it's you and me forever, girl
You know we can do better than anything that we did
You know that you and me, we can do anything
You and me together
We can do anything, baby
You and me together
Yes, yes
The two of us together....

over the rhine
if you're not regularly listening to over the rhine, then you are definitely missing out. danny and i were lucky enough to be able to see these guys perform at the ryman auditorium, and amazing isn't a strong enough word to use to describe their performance. it literally took my breath away and left me lost in the beauty of the music and karin bergquist's voice.
have i convinced you to listen to them yet?
you can listen to their latest album, the trumpet child, here.
